Marie Curie received her early education in Warsaw, Poland. She was a bright student and showed a strong interest in science, especially physics and mathematics. At that time, women were not allowed to study at universities in Poland. Therefore, Marie attended the Flying University, an underground educational institution that provided higher education to women.Later, in 1891, she moved to Paris, France, to continue her studies. She joined the University of Paris (Sorbonne), where she studied physics and mathematics. Despite facing financial difficulties, she worked very hard and completed her degree with excellent results.Marie Curie earned a degree in Physics in 1893 and a degree in Mathematics in 1894. Her education laid the foundation for her future scientific discoveries and achievements .
